Become the mentor you wish you’d had.

Our greatest need is caring adults willing to mentor one young person, one hour at a time. Start with the form below.

Why mentor

It’s simpler than you think

You don’t need to be an expert

You need to be consistent and care. We provide the training, tools, and a coordinator who has your back.

A couple of hours a week

Most mentors meet their mentee for an hour or two each week — around your real schedule.

It changes you too

Mentors tell us they get back as much as they give. Showing up for a young person is its own reward.

What to expect

Becoming a mentor

  1. 1

    Express interest

Fill out the form — it takes about five minutes and tells us how you’d like to help.

  2. 2

    Application & background check

Mentors complete a full application, references, and a background check. This is standard for any youth-serving program — and it keeps the young people we serve safe.

  3. 3

    Training

A half-day new-mentor training covers youth safety, communication, and what makes a match thrive.

  4. 4

    Get matched

A coordinator pairs you with a mentee, then supports your match every step of the way.

Time commitment: mentors commit to roughly 1–2 hours a week for at least 12 months. Consistency is what makes mentoring work — and it’s why we ask for a real commitment up front.
